MindGames uses your location to know when you've reached a checkpoint. If this is the phone you'll play on, turn it on now.
MindGames is a real-world game. You move between virtual checkpoints outdoors and act on them through this app β racing the clock.
Some games are solo, others in pairs or teams. The basics are the same every time.
Top: what you're carrying. Middle: the checkpoints with their distance and direction. Bottom: your score and the timer, which counts up once you start.
Tabs along the very bottom switch between the game, the scoreboard and your history.
Whatever you pick up at checkpoints shows here, in your pack at the top of the screen.
Your pack is usually your own β items you collect are yours to use, and your teammates can't use them for you. (A few games bend this rule, and they'll tell you when.)
Use your phone only for this app β no other maps, no web look-ups, no messaging your teammate.
Stick to public paths, and cross roads only where it's safe. Look up from the screen.
Get in range, open the checkpoint, choose an action, then close it β and watch the clock. Each game adds its own twist, explained before you start.
Pick a game whenever you're ready.
